It is now possible to use distribution lists with email. A distribution list allows you to put in one email address and automatically send email to many persons associated with that list. Please don't abuse this service!!!

In order to use these lists just use the list name at the To: prompt in

your email package. An example would be if you wanted to send an email to everyone in the School of Arts and Communications you would compose a new message in your email program. The To: line would look like this

 

To: arts_communications@lambuth.edu

 

Type in your message and send it. It will be sent to every person in the School of Arts and Communications.
